His B.S. degree in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Tennessee, along with counseling thousands of people and his personal convictions, formed the foundation of a diverse and rapidly growing company. The Lampo Group, Inc. is a collective force of dedicated Christian professionals who work as a team, was formed by Dave Ramsey in 1988.

Dave is the author of The New York Times best-selling book Financial Peace. He is also the host of the nationally syndicated The Dave Ramsey Show, and is a regular guest on television. He resides with his wife Sharon and their three children, Denise, Rachel, and Daniel, in Nashville, Tennessee.
