When you're trying to relax, make dinner, bathe the kids, or just hang out there is some annoying telemarketer testing your patience. We have all dealt with telemarketers at one time or another and said "take me off your list."

This never seems to work and it feels like you are now getting more calls. Well don't sweat it another minute because the government has created a website for you to register yourself as a "Do Not Call Customer." This FREE service intended to block most telemarketing calls was launched Friday, June 27, 2003. This list works for home, office and cell phones!

A "SPAM" e-mail circulating says, "A consortium of wireless providers is planning to create a 411 (directory assistance) service for cell phone numbers." This is TRUE, however it further states that, "You must register your cell phone with the national "Do Not Call" directory before January 1, 2005 to prevent your number from being provided to telemarketers."
