Stop "Friendly" SpamAmerica's Top-Rated Computer/Internet Talk Show ![]() It's no secret: Spam is out of control. Unsolicited messages far outnumber legitimate ones. Spam drains productivity and threatens your computer's security. Who has time for that? Now, unknown cybercrooks aren't the only progenitors of spam. There's something I like to call friendly spam. These are the jokes and hoax messages forwarded by friends and family. Although people mean well, these messages can be irritating. They clearly violate e-mail etiquette. Maybe you don't know how to speak to your friends and family about the messages. In that case, visit StopForwarding.Us. It will send an anonymous e-mail to the sender of these messages. Hopefully, the person will heed the advice in the e-mail. Once you're done, I suggest you read up on e-mail etiquette. After all, you may be showing bad e-mail manners without even realizing it! There are handy tips on the site. For more details, go to: www.stopforwarding.us Copyright © - WestStar TalkRadio Network. All rights reserved. Reprinted with permission.
