LoveNote for Lovers. . . Maturity is the ability to live up to the responsibilities of a love relationship, and this means being dependable. It means keeping your word; it means living in your relationship as if your word really means something. LoveNote for Lovers. . . In reality, anger is a derivative of and an expression of fear. To transcend or master fear, we must turn our back on it; exercise courage. Love cannot exist in the presence of fear. It is impossible for opposites to co-exist. They cannot occupy the same space at the same time. So. . . we drift. Back and forth. Love. Fear. Love. Fear. We must learn to express love to ourselves and to others in the midst of upsets. Releasing anger in healthy ways proves we are capable of creative acts of wholeness. Healing is always around the corner. It shows up when we have the courage to let go of the anger and fully embrace love. LoveNote for Lovers. . . Trust demands no withholds. It invites personal disclosure. When you trust the one you're with, you can step in front of the person you've been, allow your lover to see the real you and be more of your true self. You can more lovingly express how you think and feel when trust is present and feel more free to do so. LoveNote for Lovers. . . You need others and you depend on yourself. Needing others is not a mistake. Giving up your responsibility for satisfying your needs is a mistake. Your need to stand alone must be tempered by your need to stand together. LoveNote for Lovers. . . When misunderstandings surface, it is easy to misinterpret what is really going on. Remember that how you express your anger is being translated by someone who has no idea how you feel. It is as if love partners speak two different languages. It is often difficult to remember this when you are in the heat of battle. Wait for the dust to settle, then ask your lover to translate their feelings in a way that you can listen. . . with understanding.
