LoveNote for Lovers. . . For Women Only - Men tend to grow at their own speed. Unless your love partner is intentional about personal growth, anything you say to help may only cause him to feel that you think he is broken. Right or wrong, men inherently believe they can handle their own stuff. This may or may not be true, but being insistent about helping him grow can temporarily shut him out of your life. Quit trying to fix him. Be there for him when he is ready to be cared for, otherwise let him be and quietly attend to yourself. LoveNote for Lovers. . . Affirmation - I listen when my lover shares, without making judgments. My heart is always open to hear what my love partner has to say. LoveNote for Lovers. . . Always do your best to avoid, at all costs, the necessity of experiencing the negative results of anger. The healthy release of anger must be presented in a way that empowers the relationship; anger expressed without blame, without pointing fingers. To avoid unnecessary pain, it is important to learn that anger must be expressed with an attitude of acknowledgment; acknowledgment for the responsibility you have for your equal share of the upset. LoveNote for Lovers. . . Love is something you do. Love is as love does. Never be content with only telling your love partner you love them; promise to show it in expressions of affection. Plan to be spontaneously affectionate. My husband is not happy with my mood swings. The other day, he bought me a mood ring so he would be able to monitor my moods. When I'm in a good mood it turns green. When I'm in a bad mood it leaves a big red mark on his forehead.
